Fifty years at the bench
Sharon studied fine art at Penn State and took her master's in metal arts there. She spent her first decade teaching three-dimensional art and jewelry before going full-time at the bench, and she has never worked for anyone else since.
Her work has appeared on the runway at Couture Fashion Week in New York and in juried art and jewelry exhibitions across the country. Collectors, celebrities and more than a few well-known coaches wear her pieces. She still does the wax carving herself.
More about SharonMaster goldsmith
Hand-carved wax, hand-fabricated metal, and CAD where it genuinely helps. Nothing is outsourced and finished elsewhere.
Certified gemologist
Every stone is bought by Sharon directly, selected for color and character, and disclosed honestly — treatment, origin and all.
Appraised and archived
Finished pieces are appraised, photographed and archived in a secure system you can access for insurance at any time.
Know what you are looking at
Sharon writes these herself. What the stone actually is, where it comes from, how hard it is, whether it has been treated, and what that means for the way you will wear it.
Start a custom piece
Tell Sharon what you have in mind — a stone you already own, a ring you have been picturing for years, or nothing more than a color. Every commission starts with a conversation, and there is no charge for it.
A Central PA jeweler, and a national one
Sharon works from a studio in State College and sees local clients by appointment — from Bellefonte, Boalsburg, Altoona, Lewistown, Huntingdon and across Centre County. She also ships finished commissions throughout the United States and has done for decades, working with clients she has never met in person by photograph, video and post.
